Ayesha Siddiqa, Parent Member

Ayesha Siddiqa is a proud U.S. citizen who has called New York City home for the past eight years. Originally from Bangladesh, she earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) before moving to the United States. Her educational background, combined with her passion for community service, has inspired her to advocate for children, families, and quality public education.

For the past four years, Ayesha has been actively involved in her son’s school community, serving as the PTA Treasurer. She is also employed as a Personal Assistant with Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL) and proudly serves as a member of Community Education Council (CEC) 29. She enjoys working closely with students, parents, educators, and community members to help create welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Ayesha believes that education extends far beyond the classroom. She is a strong advocate for enriching opportunities such as STEM programs, arts and crafts, music, sports, and other extracurricular activities that foster creativity, confidence, leadership, and critical thinking. She also believes that when families are actively engaged in their children’s education, schools become stronger and communities thrive.

Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s words, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” Ayesha believes that children are our greatest treasure and the foundation of our future. She is committed to helping every child discover their unique talents while strengthening partnerships among schools, families, and the community. Through collaboration, compassion, and opportunity, she believes we can build stronger schools, stronger neighborhoods, and a brighter future for the next generation.
